Lifting The Lid On The Rockbrat Treasure Chest: Reckless Records Store Flier

What: Reckless Records Store Flier

Here is a flier obtained from the long since demolished record store (remember them) known as Reckless Records, who were located in London. Of particular interest to Oasis rock geeks is that their Berwick Street, Soho store made the cover photo for the zillion-selling Oasis album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’. I guess the Rockbrat purchased something from the Berwick Street store around 1991 and I only just unearthed this flier. There is an interesting collection of stories online by the guy who used to run the store which is a fascinating read.  London used to be a vinyl collectors mecca and you’d wear yourself out walking around the West End, Camden or Tottenham Court Road in search of elusive wax. It is so easy to obtain hard-to-find titles now online it is silly – log on – bid and win – pay, then wait for the postman. Where is the fun in that goddamnit ! !
