They are long time favourites of the Rockbrat and today, whilst spinning some Rockbrat wax I unearthed this truly remarkable 7″ from 1980. ‘Race With The Dveil’ b/w Take It All Away’. Thirty years old and this pairing of crunching rock n roll tunes makes most of today’s crop of current bands sound pathetic. Never heard any Girlschool ? Shame on you…..and before anyone comments, yes of course I know ‘Race With The Devil’ is originally a Gun song….oh and this is the original UK release on Bronze Records.
