Rockbrat News Flash: Rockbrat Radio #8 – Sydney’s Metal Years

Tune in for the first episode in a series of shows – where Mr Rockbrat and Cowboy Col remember Sydney’s heavy metal years of the 1980’s. That’s right, we were metalheads who grew up in Sydney, Australia and in this series we will be focusing only on Sydney bands, and bands who predominantly didn’t sign with major labels or make it big! We look at the early to mid-1980s, and will also revisit Sydney’s best thrash and speed metal bands from days gone by. In this first episode, we look at the late 80s hard rock and glam explosion, and play some of the artists from this period whom you may have forgotten or never heard of, including Kings Cross, Slyder, Rags ‘n’ Riches, the Candy Harlots plus more !
