BB Steal set to rock Sydney in August !

Keep your rock n roll diary free for the 11th August, when one of Australia’s premier hard rock outfits – BB Steal return to Sydney. If their memorable Christmas gig last December, and the recent sweaty show at Frankie’s  are an indication, this upcoming date at Rozelle’s Bridge Hotel is one you won’t wanna miss. Formed from the ashes of Boss in the late 80’s, BB Steal have released three albums and are working on a fourth.

Boss were one of the hardest working live acts in the country who in the mid-80’s toured with Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Dio and Twisted Sister. Their ‘Step On It’ album – released in 1984, along with BB Steal’s 1991 debut ‘On The Edge’ are held in high regard by fans and fellow musicians.

With songs such as ‘Dancin’ Queen’, ‘Kick Ass (Rock n Roll)’, ‘Strange Games’, ‘(Don’t You) Love Me And Leave Me’ and ‘Heartbeat Away’, both albums are filled with infectious rock tunage.

For some time, there has been strong demand by fans for a re-release of the ‘Step On It’ album, something that appears likely according to vocalist Craig Csongrady: ‘We are signing a deal with Twentieth Century Records in the States for the re-release of the ‘Step On It’ album, it’s been re-mastered already and sounds so much better than the original mastering’.

After a period of inactivity, there is a renewed energy within BB Steal. They released the classy ‘Resurrection’ album in 2016 on the Gulwing label and are planning more live dates in the coming months. CD’s will be available at the Sydney show or can be purchased online – along with other merch at
