Capping off a year that saw Dept. of Gloom continue to build their reputation as an unmissable live act, the band will see 2018 out with a bang at Sydney’s infamous Frankie’s Pizza on Sunday 30th December.
Following their shows with both Skid Row and Hardcore Superstar, the night promises to be huge with special guests including Black Knuckles, Unlucky, The Dysfunctions and Thunderdome.
Comprised of ex-members of Sydney glam rockers Candy Harlots and industrial goth metallers Jerk and an ex member of Floridaʼs S&M sex metal merchants Genitorturers, Dept. Of Gloom’s following has continued to grow this year. Their music fuses all the best elements of the above acts resulting in a gleaming metallic sound driven by razor sharp twin guitars and three distinct vocalists. Their songwriting craft sets them apart from other acts and offers an intoxicating brew of glam rock and roll magic. The band’s sound has been described as melodic, abrasive, sharp, sweet centred, hard-as-chromed nails tunes that leave audiences hooked and buzzing.
Dept. Of Gloom is: Leeno Dee-Vocals/bass, Bizz Tronix – Vocals/guitar, Phil Bowley-Guitar/vocals, AJ-Drums/electronics
